Australia's Changing Islands

From the 20 - 27 May 2017 six teachers from across New South Wales travelled to St Bees Island in north Queenslland to act as research assistants on Earthwatch's Australia's Changing Islands expedition.

Following the expedition the teachers will be using their new scientific research skills to engage their students in environmental monitoring projects in partnership with local land managers, as part of the Protecting New South Wales bushland through citizen science project.
