Looking a bit more cute and friendly

Visiting an elephant conservation project we were able to ride the big elephant into the river...

Before the elephant then dumps us all into the river!

....and we all come out soaking wet!

After our day with the elephants we went to the local night markets to shop and buy fresh fruit like Tuku and Rambuttan

Giant buttress on this tree.

This tree is about 6-7 feet tall and has no woody fibres. This is about as tall as you will see them grow. The trunk feels like a giant zucchini.

Some nights we alternate between forest trapping and river trapping. Here is Sawang from Cambodia and Zie from Indonesia setting up the mist nets across the Lompat River
